A Fantastic Woman is a powerful tale that raises lot of issues about infidelity, status of the mistress in society and also treatment of transgenders. The film is slightly confusing and leaves few questions unanswered. But there are some great, dramatic moments that leave a huge impact; a brave effort by director Sebastián Lelio! Transgender actor Daniela Vega is terrific and does the challenging role quite well. This was no cakewalk but she pulls it off very well. The film makes for an uncomfortable watch but should be seen nevertheless!
