(Crisp) Movie Review: TAILOR SWIFT by FENIL SETA

Tailor Swift is a 22-minute-long short film, by writer-director Tarab Kureishy, which was released on Jio Cinema recently. It tells the story of a bond formed by a handsome tailor and a stylist. The idea is interesting and quite novel. The way the characters get closer to each other is sweet and is the best part of the movie. Saket Gyani‘s cinematography and Abraham Khanna‘s music are appropriate. The film, however, stagnates in the middle. The finale is predictable but nevertheless, is sweet. Naveen Jagbir Sandhu is decent and slips into the part effortlessly. Rashmi Rajput is a great talent – gorgeous looking as well as a fine performer. Raju Mukhiya and others lend able support. All in all, Tailor Swift is a feel-good, clean entertainer and worth watching once.

My rating – *** out of 5!
