(Crisp) Movie Review: DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS by FENIL SETA

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness is a fun entertainer that has action, thrill and some amount of humour to keep the interest going. The film starts with a bang, wasting no time. The initial fight sequences are quite engaging. A particular action scene in the second half is seen to be believed and will surely be greeted with claps. However, the film becomes too complicated. Too many characters are added, and proper justice is not done to some of them by the makers. Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: No Way Home also had a bit of a complex storyline. Yet, it was entertaining and not that difficult to understand. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, however, is in a zone where you’ll have to ask your friends or family about certain plot points or later log on to Google for ‘Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness explained’ articles. This is something that never happened with a Marvel movie before. Speaking of performances, Benedict Cumberbatch, as always, is too good. Elizabeth Olsen does well although her character’s actions are not entirely justified. Benedict Wong is dependable. Xochitl Gomez puts up a great act. Rachel McAdams is lovely in a small role. All in all, Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness is a one-time watch, and strictly for Marvel fans.

My rating – *** out of 5!
