(Crisp) Movie Review: UNTIL DAWN by FENIL SETA

Until Dawn is based on a video game and is laced with an interesting concept. It also stands out from the other time loop movies. While a few scenes are terrifying, some scenes are also funny and it helps break the tension. Sadly, the writing is very weak and the film has too many unconvincing moments. The villain track is confusing. Also, in the end, the makers rush through the narrative, as if they wanted the film to end quickly. Ella Rubin (Clover) plays the lead role with panache. Michael Cimino (Max), Odessa A’zion (Nina) and Belmont Cameli (Abel) are decent. Ji-young Yoo (Megan) essays a very fascinating character and she does well. All in all, Until Dawn is a disappointing film.
