(Crisp) Movie Review: THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER by FENIL SETA

Thor: Love And Thunder’s biggest strength is humour. Writer-director Taika Waititi has an amazing sense of comedy and it comes across very well throughout the film. The romantic portions are also quite watchable. Sadly, the action scenes are strictly okay. They lack novelty value as we have seen so many Marvel films by now and many of them had better action than the one seen in Thor: Love And Thunder. The villain track is intriguing but his menace doesn’t come across convincingly. Speaking of performances, Chris Hemsworth, as always, rocks the show. Christian Bale is amazing and yet again, puts in a lot of hard work. Natalie Portman is dependable while Russell Crowe is entertaining. Tessa Thompson leaves a mark. Chris Pratt is hardly there, sadly. India Rose Hemsworth is a surprise in the film. All in all, Thor: Love And Thunder is a fun, one-time watch flick.

My rating – *** out of 5!
