(Crisp) Movie Review: FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM by FENIL SETA

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is of the most recommended films of 2016 and although I missed it before, I knew I had to see it before it vanishes from the theatres. Finally, I managed today and I am so glad I did it! This is a great entertainer and the best part is that it’s easy to understand, even for those who haven’t read the book. The characters are fun and the way they get associated with each other makes for an entertaining watch. The world shown in the film is fascinating, especially Newt’s suitcase. Spellbinding! Eddie Redmayne is damn good. His unusual way of observing and his Brit accent makes his very lovable. Katherine Waterston is quite nice while Alison Sudol leaves a huge mark. Dan Fogler is terrific and takes the film to great heights. Colin Farrell also makes an impact. Do watch it in case you haven’t and watch it in 3D – it’s worth it and I won’t say this for most of the 3D films!

My rating – **** ½ out of 5!
