Dhaakad is a very stylish film. The camerawork, the colour tone and the action is such that visually, it looks top-class. However, the film rests on a very poor storyline. Moreover, the various developments are never explained properly and hence it’ll leave viewers confused. The twist in the climax didn’t make any sense in the absence of a backstory. It’s shocking how the script even got approved in the first place. Speaking of performances, Kangana Ranaut is great and looks nice while doing action. However, she’s let down by the script. Arjun Rampal looks dashing but his performance doesn’t impress. Also, its difficult to understand his dialogues. Divya Dutta is the best part of the film. Saswata Chatterjee, Sharib Hashmi and Dishita Jain (Zaira) are okay. All in all, Dhaakad is a disappointing fare.
