Happy Bhag Jayegi is out and despite a great word of mouth, the film has underperformed at the box office. The film opened low but picked up well on Saturday and Sunday. However, the drop on Monday has sealed its fate.
It’s actor Abhay Deol however is still positive that the film will pick up and do well. He’s proud of the fact that the film has clean humour and that’s something that will attract audiences to theatres, according to him.
In the same interview, the actor also spoke about his ‘reclusive’ nature and disappearing away from the scene after his film is out. He considers himself fortunate that he can take a break and can meet his family which according to him is ‘spread across the world’. His sisters live in the USA. But Abhay is quick to make it clear that he’s not trying to be reclusive.
He makes it clear that he would love to do short films or web shows if he gets a right script. Also, if the script is fine and he trusts the director, he’ll more than happy to do a film with his cousins Sunny and Bobby Deol and uncle Dharmendra – Abhay’s long standing dream.
