(Crisp) Movie Review: TIKU WEDS SHERU by FENIL SETA

Tiku Weds Sheru, which released today on Amazon Prime Video, is the story of two crazy characters. The film starts off well and has some lovely scenes in the first half, though Sai Kabir’s direction isn’t upto the mark. Some dialogues are also quite nice. The second half, meanwhile, is a total mess. Things happen at random and don’t connect with each other. The finale is absolutely silly and it shocking how it got approved in the first place. Speaking of performances, Nawazuddin Siddiqui puts up a sincere act. Avneet Kaur delivers a confident and effective performance. Khushi Bharadwaj (Sana) leaves a mark. Vipin Sharma (Shahid Bhai), Mukesh Bhatt (Anand) and Ghanshyam Garg (Raza Ali Khan) are okay. Rahuol (Binni Arora) is wasted. The same goes for Zakir Hussain (Ahmed Rizvi) and Suresh Vishwakarma (Chandresh Bhund); in fact, their track made zero sense. All in all, Tiku Weds Sheru is an epic disappointment.
