(Crisp) Movie Review: AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM by FENIL SETA

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom is not as exciting as the first part. The film starts on a slow note. It gets better when the two warring brothers team up together. The humour and action at this point are exciting while the pace is decent. The film again drops with the climax fight turning out to be an underwhelming one as the makers fail to do justice to the villain. The mid-credit scene is disgusting. The performances also save the day to an extent. Jason Momoa, as expected, is in a great form. Patrick Wilson is entertaining. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is okay as the villain while Randall Park (Dr Shin) leaves a huge mark. Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman and Dolph Lundgren (Nereus) don’t have much to do. All in all, Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom is an average flick.

My rating – ** ½ out of 5!
