Wuthering Heights is rich man’s Tere Ishk Mein. The plot has all the required drama and intensity, while the chemistry between the lead actors is electrifying. Some scenes stand out. But after a point, the goings-on get bizarre. The actions of the characters are childish and even bewildering. Hence, despite an emotional ending, it might not stir the viewers. In terms of performances, Margot Robbie essays a complex role with perfection. Jacob Elordi is dashing and commendable as the brooding Heathcliff. Alison Oliver (Isbaella) is the surprise of the film. Shazad Latif (Edgar Linton), Martin Clunes (Mr Earnshaw) and Hong Chau (Nelly) do well. All in all, Wuthering Heights is an average flick.
