(Crisp) Movie Review: THE NAKED GUN by FENIL SETA

The Naked Gun is just 86 minutes long and the makers do full justice to the series with their old-school, nostalgic filmmaking and script. A few moments are outrageously funny and will lead to madness in cinemas. The scenes are not just hilarious but they also come up unexpectedly, which further makes them worth it. Sadly, an important scene seems inspired by Austin Powers while a crucial plot point reminds one of Kingsman. The ending could have been funnier. Liam Neeson plays his part with innocence and that works best for the film. Pamela Anderson delivers an apt performance. Danny Huston is decent as the antagonist, while CCH Pounder (Chief Davis) is too funny. All in all, The Naked Gun is a fun-filled adult-rated comedy after a long time from Hollywood.
