Mastiii 4 is based on an interesting idea; it could have made for a laugh-a-minute riot. A few jokes are genuinely funny and the film doesn’t bore even for a moment. However, most of the jokes fall flat. What’s saddening is that the makers have copied and pasted a popular joke from Main Tera Hero and also resorted to toilet humour. One such joke is so distasteful that it’ll make one wonder how it even got approved. The music is also not enticing enough. Riteish Deshmukh puts up a sincere performance. Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani go overboard. Elnaaz Norouzi, Ruhi Singh and Shreya Sharma are decent at best. Shaad Randhawa (Virat) is dependable. Tusshar Kapoor (Don Pablo Putinwa) gets to play a funny character, but is let down by the writing; Nishant Singh Malkani (Sid Walia) is passable. All in all, Mastiii 4 is avoidable.
